Vietnamese envoy pays tribute to Bangabandhu at Tungipara

GOPALGANJ, July 18, 2022 (BSS) - Ambassador of Vietnam to Bangladesh Pham 
Viet Chien today paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu 
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreath at his Tungipara mausoleum in 
Gopalganj.
    
After laying the wreath, the ambassador stood in solemn silence for some time 
as a mark of profound respect to the memory of the Father of the Nation.

Later, he offered seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu 
and other three million martyrs who sacrificed themselves in the great 
Liberation War, 1971.

 The Ambassador also signed the visitors' book at the Tungipara Mausoleum 
Complex.

Wife of the Vietnamese envoy to Bangladesh, his personal officer Mr. An, 
Member of Parliament for Barisal reserved women's seat Syeda Rubina Akhtar 
Meera, President of Bangladesh Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry Syed 
Mostafizur Rahman, Directors Abdus Sobahan and Saiful Islam Tipu, Tungipara 
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Al Mamun, Upazila Awami League Vice-
President Elias Hossain, among others, were present.
