DHAKA, July 8, 2022 (BSS) - Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the deaths of valiant freedom fighter Abu Musa Chowdhury and eminent actress Sharmili Ahmed and music director and composer Alam Khan.

In separate messages of condolence, he prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved families.

Musa Chowdhury, who conducted heroic naval operation in the great War of Liberation, passed away today at the age of 68.

Actress Sharmili Ahmed breathed her last early Friday in the capital's Ever Care Hospital at the age of 75 while seven-time National Film Award winner, composer and music director Alam Khan breathed his last around 11.32am today aged 77.
