DHAKA, July 8, 2022 (BSS) - Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of eminent actress Sharmili Ahmed.

In a condolence message, Sheikh Hasina said that Sharmili Ahmed has gained place in the hearts of the people by performing in diversifies roles on stage, TV and film.

The death of this great artiste created an irreplaceable void in Bengali drama and film, she noted.

The Prime Minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
