DHAKA, July 3, 2022 (BSS) – Awami League (AL) General Secretary Obaidul Quader today said the party-AL will remember its Advisory Council member Mukul Bose, who died on July 2 last.

“Mukul Bose was a dedicated leader of the party in difficult times. His works for the party will be exemplary for the Awami League,” he said.

Quader, also the Road Transport and Bridges Minister, said this after paying homage to the coffin of freedom fighter Mukul Bose by placing wreath at AL's central office at Bangabandhu Avenue here.

Mukul Bose passed away on July 2 last while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Chennai of India.

Along with Obaidul Quader and Syed Ashraful Islam, Bose was also the joint general secretary of the Awami League during the state of emergency in 2007.

He was elected as the party's Advisory Council member on January 1, 2017.
