GAZIPUR, July 1, 2022 (BSS) - Newly promoted Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of police Mollah Nazrul Islam has been appointed as the new commissioner of Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP).

Public Security Division of the Home Ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard on Thursday.

This order will be effective immediately in the sake of the public interest, the notification added.
