SHARIATPUR, June 4, 2022 (BSS) - Awami League Organizing Secretary Mirza Azam, MP, today said that BNP is involved in various conspiracies to foil the joyous moment of Padma Bridge inauguration.

"BNP is behaving abnormally after hearing inaugural announcement of Padma Bridge on June 25... Padma Bridge is a great achievement of Awami League. But, BNP is conspiring both at home and abroad to fade this unprecedented feat of the present government led by Awami League," he said.

He was speaking as the chief guest at an extended meeting of the district Awami League at Shariatpur Circuit House auditorium here this afternoon.

Shariatpur district Awami League president Chabedur Rahman Khoka Sikder presided over the meeting and general secretary Anal Kumar conducted the extended meeting.

Deputy Minister for Water Resources AKM Enamul Haque Shamim, Awami League Labor and Manpower Affairs Secretary Habibur Rahman Siraj, Awami League central committee members Iqbal Hossain Apu, MP, Anwar Hossain, Shahabuddin Faraji and Syed Abdul Awal Shamim also spoke.
