DHAKA, May 26, 2022 (BSS) - The met office today predicted rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind at many places of the country in the next 24 hours as of 9am tomorrow.

"Rain or thundershower with temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions; at a few places over Khulna and Barishal divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions," said a met office release here today.

However, the day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded 37.2 degrees Celsius at Khulna and minimum temperature today was 22.7 degrees Celsius at Cumilla.

The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours till 6am today was recorded 73 mm at Madaripur.

The sun sets at 6.39 pm today and rises at 5.12 am tomorrow in the capital.
