GAZIPUR, May 24, 2022 (BSS) - Three people were killed in separate road

accidents in the district.

Joydevpur railway police said an unknown female was killed when a train hit
her in Satkhamair area under Sreepur upazila this morning. She is at around
40. The woman died on the spot. Her body was sent to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad
Medical College Hospital.

In another accident, a driver Abul Hossain, 45, of a pickup van was killed
when his vehicle hit with a roadside pillar this morning in front of Bhawal
national Park on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway as he lost control over the
steering.
 
His assistant was injured in the accident, said Gazipur Sadar Thana police.

Meanwhile, a pedestrian namely Md Robin, 26, died as a truck overturned last
night in Tongi area. His body was also sent to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical
College and Hospital.
