DHAKA, May 9, 2022, (BSS) - Awami Juba League (JL) today organized a milad and doa mahfil at its Bangabandhu Avenue's central office, marking the 13th death anniversary of renowned nuclear scientist of international repute and prime minister Sheikh Hasina's husband, Dr MA Wazed Miah (Sudha Miah).

A special doa was offered seeking eternal peace of the departed soul of Dr Wazed Miah.

The nuclear scientist, who had a colourful working life, was born on February 16, 1942 in a respectable Muslim family of Laldighee Fatehpur village in Pirganj upazila of Rangpur.

Juba League General Secretary Mohammad Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil and other central leaders, among others, were present on the occasion.
