SAVAR, April 02, 2022 (BSS) - Jahangirnagar University (JU) Cultural Alliance 
formed a 12-member new executive committee for 2022-23 session. 

Sowmik Bagchi of Jahangirnagar Theatre (auditorium) and Sami Al Jahid Pritom 
of Dhoni have been elected as president and general secretary of the 
committee. 

Outgoing president of the organization Dipankar Chakravorty and general 
secretary Sohanur Gazi Moon published the names of the new committee through 
a press release today.

A total of 12 cultural organizations made this committee including 
Jahangirnagar Theatre (TSC), Jahangirnagar Theatre (Auditorium), Dhonni, 
Anandan, Jalshidi, Jahangirnagar University Debate Organization (JUDO), 
Chharon Sanskritik Kendra, Jahir Raihan Chalachittra Sangsad, Chalachittra 
Andolon and Jahangirnagar University Debating Society (JUDS).

The other members of the committee are - vice president Ariful Islam and 
Oishi Tanjim, joint secretary Prapti Taposhi, treasurer Shoron Ahsan, office 
secretary Omor Faruk Banna, publicity and publication secretary Saddam 
Hossain Rohan, executive member Samia Islam Anika, Rafat Mahmud and Abdur 
Rahman Nahid.
