PABNA, March 27, 2022 (BSS) - A Kazakhstan national, working at Rooppur

Nuclear Power Plant project, has been stabbed to death and another one was
injured at Ruppur under Ishwardi upazila of the district last night.

The deceased was identified as Vladimir Chavetz, 50 who used to work as a
contractor of Nikim firm in the Ruppur Neuclear Power Plant.

Police detained three Belarus nationals, who are working at the nuclear power
plant in Ruppur, from the area for their alleged involvement in the killing.

Masud Alam, additional superintendent of police in Pabna, said the incident
occurred in Green City residential area under the project site
last night.

Being informed, police recovered his body and sent it to Pabna Genearl
Hospital.
