DHAKA, March 20, 2022 (BSS) - A fire broke out at Beltala slum in city's Kalyanpur area tonight.

The fire broke out at number-9 slum of the area around 8.46 pm, said Rafi Al Faruk, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters.

On information, at least 13 units of the fire service from its nearby stations rushed to the spot and started drive to douse the fire, he said.

The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
