DHAKA, March 19, 2022 (BSS) - Agriculture Minister Dr Md Abdur Razzaque  today said that it is the duty of new generation to follow the ideals of Bangabandhu and build a developed Bangladesh as Bangabandhu dreamt of.

Addressing the students, he said, "When you will grow up, you will read Bangabandhu's biography, follow Bangabandhu's ideals and transform it into reality… it’s now your duty to build a prosperous Bangladesh."  

Razzak, also Awami League presidium member, was speaking as the chief guest at a programme of heroic freedom fighters marking the golden jubilee of county’s independence at Upazila Parishad at Dhanbari in Tangail.

Tangail Deputy Commissioner Ataul Gani, Police Super Sarker M Kaiser, Dhanbari Upazila Chairman Harunar Rashid Hira, Municipality Mayor Moniruzzaman, Upazila Awami League General Secretary Mir Faruq Ahmad, Upazila Vice-Chairman M Shamsul Huda and Khandaker Jeb-un Nahar, among others, were present on the occasion.

Earlier, the minister inaugurated the plantation of one lakh tree saplings program at the Upazila Parishad premises.
