DHAKA, March 18, 2022 (BSS) - Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Valiant Freedom Fighter Alhaj Md Golam Kabir Talukder, uncle of Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud.

In a message of condolence, the minister prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.

Talukder, a president of Padua Union Parishad unit Awami League
and former chairman of the union under Rangunia upazila of the district, died at his Sukhbilas village residence around 2.30am today at the age of
88.

He left behind his wife, three sons, two daughters and a host of relatives, well wishers and admirers to mourn his death.
