JASHORE, Feb 17, 2022 (BSS) - Tamanna Akter Noora, who secured
GPA-5 in this year's HSC examination writing on one foot, has applied
to the Bangabandhu Memorial Trust following the advice of Prime
Minister Sheikh Hasina.
"As per the advice of the honourable prime minister, I have applied
to the Bangabandhu Memorial Trust for stipend," Tamanna told BSS
today.

Hasan received the Tamanna's application from her home on Wednesday
and later, he forwarded it to the Deputy Commissioner of Jashore.
Her application will be sent to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO)
through the deputy commissioner on February 19 next (Saturday), an
official of the Jashore DC office said.
Jashore Deputy Commissioner Tamizul Islam Khan said Prime Minister
Sheikh Hasina and her sister Sheikh Rehana have stood by Tamanna in
fulfilling her dream.
"I hope there will be no impediment to fulfilling her dream from
now on. She will go ahead," he said.
On February 14 last, Tamanna received a WhatsApp call from Prime
Minister Sheikh Hasina. She got surprised hearing the voice on the
other side of the phone. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina congratulated
her, but Tamanna became speechless for a while.
During their conversation, Sheikh Hasina pledged to remain beside
Tamanna to fulfill her dream and asked her to submit an application to
the Bangabandhu Memorial Trust.
The primer also assured Tamanna of providing all-out support
through the trust.
On February 14, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's younger sister
Sheikh Rehana also called Tamanna's WhatsApp number from London.
Sheikh Rehena congratulated Tamanna for her excellent results.
Tamanna is the daughter of Raushan Ali and Khadija Parveen of Bankra
Alipur village in Jhikargachha upazila. She achieved GPA-5 in every
examination - Primary Education Completion Examination (PEC), Junior
School Certificate (JSC) and Secondary School Certificate (SSC) by
writing on one foot. Following her successes, she also secured GPA-5
in this year's HSC examination.
Earlier, on January 24 last, Tamanna wrote a letter to Prime
Minister Sheikh Hasina, stating her two dreams, including meeting the
premier.
Tamanna is very happy to talk to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and
her sister Sheikh Rehana over phone.
Tamanna's father Raushan Ali said her daughter had written a letter
to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on January 24 on the advice of the
Jashore Deputy Commissioner.
The letter, written by Tamanna, was first sent to the Prime
Minister's Office (PMO) through the Upazila Nirbahi Officer and then
through Jashore Deputy Commissioner Tamizul Islam Khan.
Tamanna is the eldest of the three children of Raushan Ali and
Khadija Parveen. Tamanna's father Raushan Ali is a teacher at Chhota
Poudaulia Mahila Dakhil Madrasa (Non-MPO) in Jhikargachha and her
mother Khadija Parveen is a housewife.
Tamanna's younger sister Mumtahina Rashmi is a sixth grader and her
brother Muhibullah Taj is in first class.
