RAJSHAHI, Feb 17, 2022 (BSS) - Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) recorded zero fatality in its Covid-19 unit in the last 24 hours till 9am after 12 consecutive days today.

RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani told newsmen that the hospital also recorded zero deaths in a couple of days in the previous months.

Meanwhile, two more patients were admitted to the Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 41, including 23 tested positive for Covid-19, at present.

Three other patients returned home after being cured during the same time.
 
On the other hand, 64 more patients were found Covid-19 positive after testing 450 samples in Rajshahi's two laboratories on Wednesday, showing a 12.57 percent infection rate in Rajshahi, while 20.59 percent in Natore and 7.14 percent in Joypurhat districts.
