RAJSHAHI, Feb 14, 2022 (BSS) - Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) recorded two more fatalities in its Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours till 9am today.

RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani said one of the deceased was a resident of Rajshahi and died with Covid-19 infections, while another from Natore died with post-Covid complexities.

Meanwhile, three more patients were admitted to the Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 49, including 36 positive for Covid-19, at present.

Six other patients returned home after being cured during the same time.

On the other hand, 68 more patients have tested positive for Covid-19 after testing 393 samples in Rajshahi's two laboratories on Sunday, showing 14.15 percent positivity rate in Rajshahi district, while 29.49 percent in Joypurhat district.
