RAJSHAHI, Feb 12, 2022 (BSS) - Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) recorded two more fatalities in its Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours till 9am today.

RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani said one of the deceased was a resident of Rajshahi, while another from Naogaon. Both of them died with Covid-19 infections.

Meanwhile, three more patients were admitted to the Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 57, including 40 positive for Covid-19, at present.

Two other patients returned home after being cured during the same time.
 
On the other hand, 22 more patients have tested positive for Covid-19 after testing 185 samples in Rajshahi Medical College laboratory on Friday, showing 10 percent positivity rate in Rajshahi district, while 13.83 percent in Joypurhat district.
