RAJSHAHI, Feb 11, 2022 (BSS) - Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) recorded one more fatality in its Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours till 9am today.

   RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani said the deceased was a resident of Chapainawabganj district and he died with Covid-19 symptoms.

   Meanwhile, six more patients were admitted to the Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 55, including 40 positive for Covid-19, at present.

   Seven other patients returned home after being cured during the same time.

  On the other hand, 58 more patients have tested positive for Covid-19 after testing 412 samples in Rajshahi's two laboratories on Thursday, showing 12.60 percent positivity rate in Rajshahi district, while 31.13 percent in Joypurhat district.
