DHAKA, Feb 5, 2022 (BSS) - Agriculture Minister Dr M Abdur Razzak today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Tangail district’s Dhanbari Upazila Awami League (AL) President Badiul Alam Manju  

The minister visited the house of the deceased at College Road of Dhanbari this morning and inquired about the bereaved family members and expressed deep sympathy to them.

In a condolence message, Abdur Razzak said Badiul Alam was a devoted activist of Bangladesh Awami League.  

Following the ideology of Bangabandhu, he has worked for the welfare of the grassroot people all his life, he added.

Badiul breathed his last around 12:30am last night while undergoing treatment at a city hospital at the age of 82.

He left behind five sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.

Badiul Alam was also a member of Tangail District Council, former Chairman of Paiska Union Parishad and first Mayor of Dhanbari Municipality.
