DHAKA, Jan 31, 2022 (BSS) – Awami League (AL) joint general secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim today urged Jatiya Sramik League (JSL) leaders and activists to remain united under the dynamic leadership of AL President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for the sake of the country's development.
“Sramik League leaders and activists worked when AL was in crisis in the past. They had played important role to bring the party to the state power”, he told journalists after a views-exchange meeting with JSL leaders at the AL President's political office at Dhanmondi.
JSL leaders said they would continue to work under the leadership of AL President Sheikh Hasina.
AL office secretary Barrister Biplob Barua, deputy office secretary Sayem Khan, central working committee member Syed Abdul Awal Shamim, acting president of Jatiya Sramik League Nur Kutub Alam Mannan, general secretary K M Azam Khasru, vice president Tofayel Ahmed and Md Shabuddin, among others, were present in the meeting.
