RAJSHAHI, Jan 26, 2022 (BSS) - Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH)
recorded one more death in its Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours till
6am today.

     RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani said the deceased was a
resident of Chapainawabganj and died with Covid-19 symptoms.

     Meanwhile, eight more patients were admitted to the Covid-19 unit during
the last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 49, including 34
positive for Covid-19, at present.

     Eight other patients returned home after being cured during the same
time.

     On the other hand, 357 more patients were found Covid-19 positive after
testing 641 samples in Rajshahi's two laboratories on Tuesday, showing 58.60
percent infection rate in Rajshahi, while 23.07 percent in Chapainawabganj.
