RAJSHAHI, Jan 24, 2022 (BSS) - Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) recorded three more deaths in its Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours till 6am today.

RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani said the deceased were the residents of Rajshahi and one of them died with Covid-19 infections, while two others with its symptoms.

Meanwhile, seven more patients were admitted to the Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 51, including 35 tested positive for Covid-19, at present.

Six other patients returned home after being cured during the same time.

On the other hand, 228 more patients were found Covid-19 positive after testing 458 samples in Rajshahi's two laboratories on Sunday, showing a 60.49 percent infection rate in Rajshahi, while 6.59 in Joypurhat.
