RAJSHAHI, Jan 21, 2022 (BSS) - Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) recorded one more death in its Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours till 6am today.

   RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani said the deceased was a resident of Naogaon and died with Covid-19 symptoms.

   Meanwhile, six more patients were admitted to the Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 58, including 39 positive for Covid-19, at present.

   Eight other patients returned home after being cured during the same time.

  On the other hand, 160 more patients were found Covid-19 positive after testing 461 samples in Rajshahi's two laboratories on Thursday, showing 37.83 percent infection rate in Rajshahi against 40.16 percent on Wednesday.
