DHAKA, Jan 19, 2022 (BSS) - Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan 
Mahmud today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of senior 
reporter of Bengali daily 'Dainik Samayer Alo' Habibur Rahman Habib.

   In a condolence message, the minister said, "I knew the youth journalist- 
Habibur Rahman. He was organizing secretary of Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU). 
The sad demise of him is really very pathetic."

   Hasan, also Awami League joint general secretary, prayed for eternal peace 
of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

   Habibur died in a motorbike accident in the city's Hatirjheel area early 
today.
