RAJSHAHI, Jan 18, 2022 (BSS) - Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH)

recorded zero fatality in its Covid-19 unit in the last 24 hours till 6am
today.

     RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani told newsmen that the
hospital also recorded zero deaths on January 14 last and a couple of days in
the previous months.

     Meanwhile, one more patient was admitted to the Covid-19 unit during the
last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 30, including 16
tested positive for Covid-19, at present.

     Seven other patients returned home after being cured during the same
time.

     On the other hand, 63 more patients were found Covid-19 positive after
testing 202 samples in Rajshahi's two Covid-19 testing laboratories on
Monday, showing a 30.70 percent infection rate against 33.19 on Sunday.
