RAJSHAHI, Jan 16, 2022 (BSS) - Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH)
recorded one more fatality in its Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours till
6am today.

   RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani said the deceased was a
teenager and hailed from Pabna district.

  The deceased was undergoing treatment in the hospital after being infected
with Covid-19 for the last couple of days.

   Meanwhile, eight more patients were admitted to the Covid-19 unit during
the last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 31, including 11
positive for Covid-19, at present.

   Six other patients returned home after being cured during the same time.

   On the other hand, 11 more patients were found Covid-19 positive after
testing 145 samples in Rajshahi Medical College laboratory on Saturday,
showing 9.65 percent infection rate.
