RAJSHAHI, Jan 14, 2022 (BSS) - Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) recorded zero fatality in its Covid-19 unit in the last 24 hours till 6am today.

   RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani told newsmen that the hospital also recorded zero deaths on January 2 last and a couple of days in the previous months.

   Meanwhile, nine more patients were admitted to the Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 32, including 13 tested positive for Covid-19, at present.

   Six other patients returned home after being cured during the same time.

  On the other hand, 13 more patients were found Covid-19 positive after testing 195 samples in Rajshahi Medical College laboratory on Thursday, showing an 11.28 percent infection rate in Rajshahi.
