Dhaka, Jan 8, 2022 (BSS) - Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) today organised a voluntary blood donation campaign on the Dhaka University (DU) campus here marking its 74rth founding anniversary.

   Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni inaugurated the daylong voluntary blood donation campaign this morning in front of Aparajeyo Bangla on the campus with BCL central president Al Nahian Khan Joy in the chair.

   A total of 537 leaders and activists of BCL from different units donated blood voluntarily at the daylong campaign from 10am to 5pm today, said BCL central president Al Nahian Khan Joy.

  All the collected bloods were handed over to different hospitals through different blood donation organisations including Sandhani Blood Bank, said Al Nahian Khan. 

  "Like previous years, we organised this campaign in a bid to help the people" Joy added. 

   BCL General Secretary BCL Lekhak Bhattacharya, DU unit president Sonjit Chandra Das and General Secretary Hussein Saddam, leaders and activists of different unit of the body were present on the occasion.
