RAJSHAHI, Jan 8, 2022 (BSS) - Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH)
recorded one more death in its Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours till
6am today.

   RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani said the deceased was a
resident of Chapainawabganj and he died with Covid-19 symptoms.

   Meanwhile, nine more patients were admitted to the Covid-19 unit during
the last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 31, including
seven tested positive for Covid-19, at present.

   Three other patients returned home after being cured during the same time.

   On the other hand, three more patients were found Covid-19 positive after
testing 94 samples in Rajshahi's two Covid-19 testing laboratories on Friday,
showing a 1.34 percent infection rate in Rajshahi, while 3.33 percent in
Chapainawabganj.
