RAJSHAHI, Jan 2, 2022 (BSS) - Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH)

recorded zero fatality in its Covid-19 unit in the last 24 hours till 6am for
the third consecutive day today.

     RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani told newsmen that the
hospital also recorded zero deaths on Saturday and Friday and a couple of
previous days in the last month.

     Meanwhile, one more patient was admitted to the Covid-19 unit during the
last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 25, including seven
tested positive for Covid-19, at present.

     Two other patients returned home after being cured during the same time.

     On the other hand, four more patients were found Covid-19 positive after
testing 129 samples in Rajshahi Medical College laboratory on Saturday,
showing a 3.54 percent infection rate in Rajshahi.
