BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman -File Photo

BOGURA, Jan 3, 2026 (BSS) - The nomination paper of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman for the Bogura-6 (Sadar) constituency was declared valid today.

Deputy Commissioner and District Returning Officer Md Taufiqur Rahman announced the decision after scrutinizing the nomination papers at 10:20 am on Saturday.

Speaking to reporters, the returning officer said no discrepancies were found during the scrutiny of Tarique Rahman's nomination paper, and it was therefore accepted as valid.
