Dry weather likely

DHAKA, Dec 30, 2022 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today predicted dry weather with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours as of 9am tomorrow.

"Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country during 24 hours till 9am tomorrow," said a BMD bulletin.

However, moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the country during midnight till tomorrow morning, it added.

Mild cold wave is sweeping over the districts of Naogaon, Panchagarh, Jashore and Chuadanga.
Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded 29.0 degrees Celsius at Cox’s Bazar of Chattogram division, while the minimum temperature today was 8.7 degrees Celsius at Tetulia of Rangpur division.

The sun sets at 05.22pm today and rises at 06.40am tomorrow in the capital.
