DHAKA, Dec 29, 2022 (BSS) - Rezaul Karim Lotus, executive editor of the Daily Sun, and Abu Hena Emrul Kayesh, Special Correspondent of Bangla Vision, have been elected president and general secretary respectively of the executive committee of the Diplomatic Correspondents Association, Bangladesh (DCAB) for 2023.

The election to the DCAB executive committee was held today at National Press Club here, a press release said.

DCAB Chief Election Commissioner Farid Hossain announced the election results.

The other 11-member executive committee of DCAB are - Vice President Mir Mostafizur Rahman (Financial Express), Joint Secretary Ashikur Rahman Apu (ATN News), Treasurer Atiqur Rahman (Jababdihi) Office Secretary Morshed Hasib Hasan (Channel 24), Members- Khurram Zaman (News24), Nafiza Daula (Independent TV), Rabiul Haque (Daily Industry), Sheikh Shahriar Zaman (Bangla Tribune) and Tauhidur Rahman (Banglanews24.com).

Earlier, the AGM of the DCAB was held with its president Rezaul Karim Lotus in the chair.
