DHAKA, Dec 24, 2022 (BSS) - Geeta Rani Das, mother of Awami League Liberation War Affair Secretary Mrinal Kanti Das, MP, passed away today at the age of 87. 

Geeta Rani Das breathed her last at a city hospital where she was undergoing treatment, family sources said. 

She left behind two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death. 

Awami League general secretary and road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader expressed deep shock at the death of Geeta Rani Das and prayed for salvation of the departed soul. 

He also conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family.
