DHAKA, Dec 20, 2022 (BSS) - Gazi Lutful Kabir (Renu Meia), former advisory council member of Dhaka City South unit of Awami League, died of old-age complications at his residence in the city today.

He was 86.

Kabir is survived by his wife, a son, two daughters and a host of friends, relatives, well wishers and admirers.

Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road, Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today expressed profound shock and sorrow
at the death of Kabir.

In a condolence message, the minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family
members.
