RAJSHAHI, Dec 19, 2022 (BSS) - Thirty three students under Business Studies Faculty at Rajshahi University (RU) were given 'Dean's Honours List Award' as recognition of their significant achievement in their respective academic fields.
 
Each awardee was given a crest, certificate and Taka 5,000.
 
RU authority arranged an award-giving ceremony at its Senate Bhaban today largely attended by teachers, students and others concerned.
 
Vice-chancellor (VC) Professor Golam Sabbir Sattar addressed the ceremony as the chief guest, while pro vice chancellors Professor Sultan-Ul-Islam and Professor Humayun Kabir and treasurer Professor Obayedur Rahman Pramanik spoke as special guests with Business Studies Faculty Dean Professor Faridul Islam in the chair.
 
Congratulating the award-winners for their achievements, the VC hoped that the students will contribute a lot towards progress and welfare of the country and the nation as well in the days to come.
