BAGERHAT, Sept 9, 2026 (BSS) - A seminar on IELTS, spoken English and Japanese language learning was held at Bagerhat Government Prafulla Chandra College today, focusing on opportunities and preparations for higher education abroad.

SA Language Center organized the seminar at 11:30am to provide students with practical guidance on language skills, IELTS preparation and studying abroad.

Professor Parveen Akhter and Assistant Professor Md Mizanur Rahman spoke at the programme. Khan Jamir Akhter, proprietor of SA Language Center, was also present.

Speakers discussed the importance of language proficiency, IELTS preparation, Japanese language learning and the various stages of pursuing higher education abroad.

They said many students interested in studying overseas lack adequate information about the necessary preparation and language requirements. The seminar aimed to address these gaps and provide practical guidance for their academic and career plans.

More than 100 students attended the seminar.
