RANGPUR, Sept 9, 2026 (BSS) - An exchange of views meeting was held with heads and representatives of various reputed educational institutions in the city regarding the establishment of the Rangpur Zilla Parishad School and College.
 
This meeting was organized on Wednesday afternoon at the Rangpur Zilla Parishad auditorium in the city, under the initiative and chairmanship of Md Saiful Islam, the Administrator of the Rangpur Zilla Parishad and Convener of the District BNP.
 
Chief Executive Officer of Rangpur Zila Parishad Mamun Or Rashid, Executive Officer S.M. Abu Darda, District Education Officer Md. Enayet Hossain, Assistant Engineer Wazedul Haque Rubel, Administrative Officer Md. Moktal Hossain, Headmistress of Rangpur Government Girls' High School Ferdousi Ashrafi, Principal of Rangpur Police Lines School and College Professor Md. Obaidul Anwar, and former Headmaster of Rangpur Zilla School Abu Raihan Md Mizanur Rahman along with other teachers and representatives from various educational institutions in the city addressed the event.
 
Thanking the Rangpur Zilla Parishad Administrator for the initiative, the speakers focused on the need of establishing the Rangpur Zilla Parishad School and College, improving the quality of education and overall operations of the proposed educational institution.
