Narail, August 18, 2026 (BSS) - A drawing competition for children was held here today marking ‘Sultan Utsab-2026’ organised by the SM Sultan Shishu Charu O Karukla Foundation. 

The competition began at 10:00 am at Sultan Mancha on the premises of Narail Government Victoria College.

Narail Zilla Parishad Administrator and freedom fighter Md. Mostafizur Rahman Alek attended the event as the chief guest.

Narail Government Victoria College Principal Professor Haider Ali Dewan and District Primary Education Officer Md. Jahangir Alam, among others, were present.

People from various walks of life and children’s guardians also attended the drawing competition. More than 200 children participated in the competition.

SM Sultan Shishu Charu O Karukla Foundation President Sheikh Hanif said, a two-day Sultan Festival, featuring painting and photography exhibitions, discussions, an award distribution ceremony and cultural programmes has been organised.
