BAGERHAT, August 24, 2026 (BSS) - A technical skills fair was held in Rampal, Bagerhat with the aim of expanding employment and sustainable livelihood opportunities by connecting the youth with technical and vocational training.
?In collaboration with Bandhan Manav Unnayan Sangstha, Action Aid Bangladesh and organized by Activista Bagerhat and Activista Rampal, Rampal Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Abhijit Chakraborty was present as the chief guest at the fair.
In addition, Upazila Agriculture Officer Insad Ibne Amin, Upazila Women Affairs Officer Kaniz Fatema Shefa, Upazila Youth Development Officer Md. Mofizur Rahman Milon, representatives of government and private organizations and media personnel working in various print and electronic media were present.
?The organizers said that a significant number of youth in Bagerhat district cannot participate in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) due to lack of information, financial constraints and poor communication with training institutions. Considering this reality, this fair has been organized to make them aware of training, employment and self-employment opportunities.
