JASHORE, Aug 24, 2026 (BSS) - A trader in Sadar upazila has been fined Taka 100,000 for selling counterfeit and expired products, including baby food, during a raid conducted by the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) on Monday.
 
The fine was imposed on Md Asaduzzaman, owner of Tanseef Traders, at Pulerhat Bazar of the upazila at noon. 
 
DNCRP Assistant Director Selimuzzaman said all counterfeit and expired products found at the establishment were destroyed.
