DHAKA, Aug 7, 2026 (BSS)-Rangpur district made winning start in a final round of JFA U-14 Women's Youth Development Program that has begun today (Friday) in Tangail venue.

In the day's match, Rangpur district, rode on Ananna's brilliant hat-trick, blanked Jhenaidah district by 5-0 goals.

In the proceeding, Ananna scored hat-trick with three goals in the 10th, 28th and 63rd minutes while Sharmina supported her with two goals in the 31st and 69th minutes for Rangpur.

In the day's another match, host Tangail district split point with Chapainawabganj district when their match ended in a 1-1 goal draw.

In the match, Afrin put Chapainawabganj ahead in the 29th minute while after the breather Mim leveled the margin for Tangail in the 61st minute of the match.   
  
A total of eight district teams, six venue champions teams and two best runners-up teams, split into two groups, are participating the final round.
