RAJSHAHI, July 23, 2026 (BSS) – Lt Col Rubayat Kabir, Commandant of the Rajshahi Jail Training Centre, today paid a courtesy call on Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) Administrator Mahfuzur Rahman Riton, expressing commitment to strengthening coordination for urban development, civic services, and public welfare.

The meeting was held at the Administrator's office at Nagar Bhaban at noon. Besides exchanging greetings, the two sides held fruitful discussions on various issues, including the overall development of the Rajshahi metropolis, improvement of civic services, and public welfare.

During the meeting, they emphasized the need to further accelerate urban development activities, improve the quality of civic services, and strengthen coordination and cooperation among relevant institutions in the public interest.

RCC Administrator Mahfuzur Rahman said there is no alternative to coordinated initiatives among various government institutions to ensure improved and effective services for city dwellers.

He said all organizations must work together for the welfare of the people.

Lt Col Rubayat Kabir praised RCC's various development and public service initiatives and expressed interest in further advancing public welfare activities through mutual cooperation in the future.

At the end of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to making civic services and public welfare activities more effective and dynamic through coordinated efforts.
