He directed the Detective Branch (DB), police stations, outposts and all units of the RpMP to perform their duties more effectively and in a coordinated manner to control drugs, terrorism, theft, robbery and other crimes.

“The ongoing campaign against drugs must be further strengthened and no concessions can be made against drug dealers and criminals,” he said.

He directed officers and members at all levels to behave humanely, cordially and professionally with the public to further strengthen the public's trust and confidence in the police.

In cases related to violence against women and children with utmost seriousness, he instructed to investigate and resolve in coordination with the Public Prosecutor, Additional Public Prosecutor, the concerned magistrates and judges.

Especially in the rape cases, there is no scope for any compromise or agreement and these cases should be reviewed with utmost importance.
