BAGERHAT, June 9, 2026 (BSS) - Certificates and awards were distributed in Mollahat upazila of Bagerhat district on the occasion of National Education Week-2026.

The programme was organised by the Upazila Secondary Education Office at the Upazila Parishad auditorium at 11 am today.

Mollahat Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sumona Airin attended the programme as the chief guest, while Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md. Mofizur Rahman presided over it.

Speaking at the event, the UNO said National Education Week plays an important role in improving the quality of education and nurturing students' talent. 

She added that such initiatives encourage students, teachers and educational institutions to perform better. She also stressed the need for collective efforts to develop students into capable citizens by enhancing their creativity, morality and skills.
