CHAPAINAWABGANJ, June 7, 206 (BSS) - The district police have recovered 23 mobile phones and returned them to their rightful owners.
The recovered phones were officially handed over during a ceremony held at 11:30 am on Sunday in the conference room of the Office of the Superintendent of Police, Chapainawabganj. Superintendent of Police (SP) Gautam Kumar Biswas handed over the phones among their owners.
Speaking at the event, SP Gautam Kumar Biswas said that the recovery operation was initiated following General Diaries (GDs) filed by individuals who had lost their mobile phones for various reasons. Using information technology and digital tracking methods, police successfully traced and recovered the devices from different parts of the country.
The recovery effort was carried out by ASI Abdul Motaleb of Chapainawabganj Sadar Police Station, ASI Md. Farhad Hossain of Nachol Police Station, and SI Md. Rabiul Islam of Shibganj Police Station.
District Police officials said such initiatives would continue to help citizens recover lost property and strengthen public trust in law enforcement.
