KHULNA, June 5, 2026 (BSS)- Joint force on Thursday arrested 63 persons, including criminals and accused in different cases from the city.

They also seized huge lethal weapon, 11 motorcycles and a pickup van during the drives, said a KMP press release today.

According to the release, both North and South Division of KMP conducted the joint drives in the crime prone areas of the city.

Earlier, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) and other law enforcement agencies in a joint meeting decided to launch a joint special drive against terrorists, extortionists and drug traffickers in Khulna to improve the law and order situation in the region.

The meeting reviewed the prevailing law and order situation in Khulna and decided to conduct coordinated operations based on intelligence reports to arrest listed criminals.

KMP, RAB-6, Khulna District Police, Armed Police Battalion (APBn) and other specialized police units conducted the joint drive.
