DHAKA, Feb 8, 2026 (BSS) – In a strategic drive to diversify its export basket and reinforce its presence in the European market, Bangladesh has demonstrated significant manufacturing prowess at Ambiente Frankfurt-2026.
A delegation of 37 exhibitors is currently representing the nation at Messe Frankfurt, Germany, for the world’s premier trade fair for consumer goods, which runs from February 6 to 10, said a press release.
The participation underscores Bangladesh’s growing reputation as a reliable and high-quality sourcing destination, with the national contingent engaging a global audience of professional buyers across the five-day event.
The Bangladeshi delegation is composed of 32 direct exhibitors and five specialized companies participating under the umbrella of the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB). The government’s collaboration through the EPB highlights a focused effort to champion the nation's burgeoning artisan, sustainable, and craft-based sectors on the international stage.
The five companies supported by the EPB include Eco Crave, Sonali Aansh Industries, Jute Crafts, Maaf Craft BD and Tarango.
These exhibitors are showcasing eco-friendly innovations that align with the increasing global demand for sustainable manufacturing.
The Bangladeshi showcase at Ambiente 2026 spans a diverse array of product categories, reflecting the versatility of the country’s industrial base. Key sectors on display include Global Sourcing, Dining, Living, Giving, Beauty and Bath, Decorations, Packaging, and Gifts.
A significant highlight of this year’s participation is the emphasis on the Paperworld segment. The first two days of the exhibition have yielded promising results, characterized by strong international buyer interest and a high volume of business inquiries. Exhibitors report that the fair has served as a vital platform for strengthening existing trade relationships while opening doors to new export opportunities. This early momentum is seen as a testament to the competitive quality and aesthetic appeal of Bangladeshi-made goods in the global consumer market.
