Talukder begins election campaign by visiting martyr's grave in Madaripur

MADARIPUR, Jan 22, 2026 (BSS) - BNP-nominated candidate for Madaripur-3 constituency and Central BNP Joint Mass Education Affairs Secretary Anisur Rahman Khokon Talukder began his election campaign today by visiting the grave of July fighter Shaheed Nazmul Hasan in Madaripur.

He said a day-long mass outreach programme from Thursday morning in different areas of Khowajpur Union under Sadar Upazila. 

At the outset, Khokon Talukder visited the grave of Shaheed Nazmul Hasan and offered prayers seeking forgiveness for the departed soul, formally inaugurating his election campaign.

As part of the programme, he went door to door in various villages of Khowajpur union and exchanged views with local residents at marketplaces and shops. 
During these interactions, he inquired about the well-being of the people and outlined BNP's political stance and future plans.

The mass outreach was attended by Ilias Munshi Irad, Joint General Secretary of the Volunteer Party, Shahin Mridha, Joint Convener of the District Jubo Dal, Mehedi Hasan Zakir, Convener of the District Chhatra Dal, Kamrul Hasan, Member Secretary, SM Roman Samrat, Member Secretary of the Sadar Upazila unit of the Krishak Dal, along with leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliated organisations at various levels.
